It's likely that, at least initially, members of the core team will be the main ones running other services.

It would be good to have a clear understanding of what a "core" service is, and why/how a service would migrate from "member" to "core.

For example, at time of writing, the following aren't on the core list:

  • Blob storage (like S3)
  • Secret storage

Both of these could be really useful building blocks, but they add complexity. And in the case of blob stores, potentially high costs.
