From time to time, I see adult content creators talking about their horrible dramas with basically everything.

We probably need to have a stance, and pick services that align with it.

Also, more broadly, we really need to think about the OSA, and equivalent legislation. Might have to rope in Neil Brown, if he's not thoroughly sick of the subject by now.

Given the current architecture you've proposed, it seems like 'we' might be legally responsible for the core services (in a sane world the ones we've suggested so far wouldn't be seen as 'user to user' services, but ofcom is ofcom), whereas ideally the people running auxiliary services would be responsible for what they run. We'd need to get that legally checked out though.

Came back to comment - perhaps we should start with a "no adult content" policy.
Then we can loosen once we know what we can do, rather than needing to tighten the rules
